Michigan State Law requires that at 4 months of age all dogs MUST have a valid rabies vaccine (given by licensed veterinarian) and be licensed. All dogs licenses expire the month of the rabies vaccine. Ionia County Licenses are to be purchased through the Ionia County Treasurer's Office, information below.
